CYBERTOWN AMNESTY REQUEST FORM
In honor of ex-Mayor Flyby, we have created a limited Amnesty for the majority of previously banned ex-members.
This petition, if granted, entitles the ex-member to re-enter Cybertown with their former name, citycash and experience points. It is a privilege and as each and every case is reviewed the hope is that those who have made errors or mistakes in the past have learned from those mistakes and can return to help and further enrich the community.
This petition is based upon the "Readmission to the City" section of step 6 of the UBP with the changes that the 6 month waiting period as well as the requirement to write an amends letter are waived for the term of this Amnesty.
There are two classes of ex-members who are ineligible for this Amnesty:
1) Ex-members who have been previously offered and declined a similar Amnesty and
2) For obvious reasons, ex-members who have utilized an external hate or harassment site or sites to consistently and viciously attack or defame the community and its members.
To clarify 2) above, if an ex-member got upset about their ban and visited an external hate or harassment site and briefly "vented" their frustration, but did not then actively participate in a hate or harassment campaign or site, that is not the same thing. If they now truly wish to return to the community and are willing to abide by its published regulations, such a petition would be accepted for review.
A Tribunal will review and decide upon the petition and let the petitioner know if their petition is approved or denied. The identity of the Tribunal members will be kept confidential to prevent any attempts at tampering.
This privilege would restore the Cybertown nickname back into the City, but it would still be up to the Citizen to pay the appropriate amount for membership and keep their account in good-standing and the member would be "on probation" for their first three months.
